There are particular advantages to having your doors made from old wood, which you may not be aware of.

Due to originating from big old trees, the appearance and character of the wood is more varied than modern “factory forested” timber and will closely resemble old dipped and stripped doors but not have any of the associated problems which include joints becoming unglued and the 'heart' of the door being stripped.

Just as important is the fact that having been in dry buildings for many decades, this wood is properly seasoned and will not warp or twist anymore. Any bent timbers are rejected during the process of transforming old joists, rafters, trusses etc, into solid dependable doors which will last for many decades more.
